My father and I started this business ten years ago to show people how much fun and exciting rafting rivers can be. We wanted to share this experience with others on one of the most beautiful and scenic rivers that Western NC has to offer. Let us show you the love that we have for this river and the surrounding area.
—Heath White, owner
While rafting on the French Broad River you enjoy the beautiful and scenic Pisgah National Forest, which features some of the most spectacular and rugged mountain scenery in eastern North America. At Huck Finn Rafting Adventures, we strive to make your river experience one that is of the highest quality. We have a professional staff that specializes in rafting one river very very well — the French Broad River. Our equipment is maintained to the highest industry standards. We use self-bailing rafts that are designed with your comfort in mind. Most of our guests are return customers from previous years who have found that we take the extra step in making them feel like they are not just another number. Since we are a small family owned and operated business, we can work with our customer's individual needs.
We have many discounts available including group, church, scout trip, school, corporate, weddings, military, and our online coupon. Our professional guides, equipment, and staff can provide you and your family or group with an unforgettable white water river rafting experience. The French Broad River is the closest rafting destination to Asheville NC and conveniently located to other main attractions in the area including the Biltmore House in Asheville, the Grove Park Inn, Lake Lure, Chimney Rock State Park, Charlotte NC, Greenville SC, Knoxville TN, Hendersonville NC, Brevard NC, and downtown Asheville North Carolina.

What if it rains?
We go rafting rain or shine. We have foul weather gear at no additional cost in case of inclement weather. In case of lightning, our professional staff has procedures to keep guests as safe as possible. Normally this is not a problem in the Western NC mountains.
What a great spring we are having at Huck Finn Rafting! After two years of drought conditions, it is raining again and the water levels are back to normal levels. This springtime is not only enjoyable because we are getting rain, but the leaves are out on the trees, the dogwoods are blooming, and flowers are out everywhere. The guests that have gone with us so far this year have been enjoying all of this beauty first hand since our white water river rafting trips go through the Pisgah National Forest. We hope you can join us soon as we look forward to taking you down the river!
